At Iguana Lodge there are many things to do, or not, as you choose. Our new OohLaLa Yoga/Dance and Beachfront Studios (along with the largest lap pool and only Jacuzzi on the Osa) call out for you to swing by and dip into downward dog ... but, most guests' first stop is either straight to the beach or heading out with our famed naturalist, Sidnar. He is a literal font (and fount) of rainforest knowledge, as well as a local who knows the history of the Osa very well. He can take you on various walks around the property as well as throughout the Osa. In the mornings you will often see him with his telescope leading guests around to spot sloths, monkeys, birds, etc.
During the day the following activities are to be found in our little paradise:
The beach is unbeatably gorgeous, the birding is extraordinary, the yoga decks sublime, the lap pool and jacuzzi just perfect, observation of wildlife fascinating, riding bikes to town lovely, horseback riding timeless, kayaking out to the reef idyllic, swimming to the reef strenuous, boogie boarding exhilarating, a massage in our new spa area dreamy, reading up on the rainforest interesting, watching the sunrise epic, learning the salsa in our Rumba Room way too much fun. Don’t you hate it when that happens?
Tweaking photographs fulfilling, cooking classes inspiring, strolling through the gardens serene, visiting the art gallery uplifting, hanging out in a hammock soothing, nighttime frog and turtle foraging adventuresome, afternoon volleyball invigorating, ping pong action-packed, spending time with loved ones what it is all about.
