2007/2008 Domestic Flight Schedule

NATURE AIR
Nature Air leaves from the Tobias Bolaños airport located in Pavas, San Jose, which is approximately a 30-minute taxi ride from the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).

The fare in the 2008 Green season from May 1 - November 30 is $119/one-way and $238/roundtrip. The fare for children under 12 years of age is half the FULL RATE and children under two years fly for free.

The fare in the 2008 High season from Dec 1 - April 30, 2009 is $129/one-way and $258/roundtrip. The fare for children under 12 years of age is half the FULL RATE and children under two years fly for free.

The cancellation policy will charge a cancelled reservation within 15 days of departure- 100% of the ticket. No refunds for these cancellations. If a cancellation is made further than 15 days from departure, we will give a full refund, no penalty charge. Cancellations must be received with NatureAir acknowledgement in writing.

Schedule Flight Changes – All changes to reservations must be requested in writing and will be charged a $10 dollar change of reservation fee per person.These prices are subject to change.

Nature Air policies:

AIRPORT CHECK IN

• Check-in is 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights.
• Check-in is 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure for international flights.
• Domestic flights are closed 20 minutes prior to departure.
• International flights are closed 30 minutes prior to departure. Any passengers not checked-in, will not be boarded and may be denied boarding and forfeiture of reservations and all monies paid.
• In San Jose, Costa Rica, Nature Air is located at Pavas Airport, centrally located only 4 miles from downtown, and 9 miles from Juan Santamaria International Airport.
• Government issued photo identification must be presented by all passengers at the time of check-in to guarantee boarding. Failure to present positive identification may result in denied boarding and forfeiture of reservations and all monies paid.

BAGGAGE POLICY

• Each fare paying passenger is allowed to carry, free of charge, up to 30 pounds of baggage. Free baggage allowance includes the weight of both hand and checked baggage, although no hand baggage more than 10 pounds is allowed inside the aircraft cabin. To meet this goal, passengers may have to distribute weight between bags. Infants do not have any free baggage allowance.
• Baggage may not exceed 64 square inches in diameter when totaling length plus width plus height. Baggage exceeding this dimension will be transported on our aircraft subject to space and weight availability.
  
• Surfboards, golf clubs/bags, fishing equipment and bicycles are, accepted for transportation and will be transported subject to space and weight availability on our aircraft. Excess baggage charges for these articles are USD$40.00 each piece, per flight.
• Excess luggage will be charged at the airport and must be paid prior to travel commencing. Payment of excess baggage fees does not guarantee baggage will be transported on the same flight as the passenger, and may be put on next available flight. Collection of late arriving baggage is the responsibility of the passenger.
  
• NatureAir is not responsible for personal property left inside the aircraft cabin.
  
• Storage for luggage is available at Pavas Airport in San Jose only.
  
• NatureAir does not transfer baggage between flights operated by any other airline or transportation company.
  

NON REFUNDABLE POLICY

• Reservations are non-refundable.
  
• Changes and cancellations may be made to reservations commensurate with the policies of the fare purchased.
  

CHANGE OF DATE AND FLIGHT POLICY
Changes in reservations schedules have a $20.00usd fee. a.. Changes fee are based per person in reservation. These changes apply at any time or day requests by passenger please notice next rule below. Changes prior to 12 hours are applied at airport only. Check with reservations at 506 299 6000 to be informed of space and flight availability.

CHILDREN FARES AND RESTRICTION
Infants under 0-24 months sitting in parent’s lap travel free. When twins or 2 infants under 2 years of age are flying with one adult, one infant will fly free and the other one pays 75%of the fare and must bring authorized car seat to be seated in aircraft seat. Children 2-11 pay 75% of the fare, children 12 and over pay as an adult, children flying alone only if there are over 6 years of age and up. Between 2 and 5, 11 month are not permitted but only with and adult or 15 year old teen companion.

SPECIAL SERVICE
Wheel Chair is available only in Pavas Airport. Electrical Wheel Chairs are not permitted to travel in Nature Air.

SANSA
Sansa leaves from the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO).

Important info
Please note that once the reservations are made there are no tickets to turn into you. You will receive a confirmation code, or Locator, which is unique to your reservation and serves just as a ticket would as proof of confirmation of your reservation.  None of the airlines overbook, so once you are confirmed with us you are guaranteed your reservation, provided that you show up at check in time on the dates that you are flying and that you have paid. All domestic flights from San Jose have check in’s 60 (NA) and 45 (SA) minutes prior to flight departure.

The company will cancel any reservation as a 'no-show', for those passengers that have not presented themselves at the airport airline counter thirty (30) minutes prior to flight departure.
Please also note that the Tobias Bolanos airport where Nature Air departs and lands is located about a 30-minute taxi ride from the Juan Santamaria International airport.  Also, it takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to pass through immigration, baggage claim and customs upon arrival to Costa Rica, and most airlines request a minimum 2 hour prior check-in when departing the country. Please take these factors into account when calculating which flights will serve you best.

Weight and luggage policy for all domestic airlines:
Maximum luggage allowance is 30 pounds/person with Nature Air and 25 pounds/person with Sansa including carry-on.  Excess luggage will be charged up to $0.55 per pound and will be transported only if total weight capacity of aircraft allows it.  Oversize items such as surfboards ($15/surfboard/oneway), bicycles, etc., are subject to fit in baggage compartment.  Nature Air could take surfboards not longer than 7.9 feet.  Sansa could take surfboards not longer than 6.9 feet.  The price for extra luggage/weight is subject to change.

Flights are closed 20 minutes before departure, passengers not checked in before are not guaranteed boarding on the aircraft.

Please be advised that all passengers need a passport valid for 90 days upon arrival to Costa Rica. There is a $26/person exit tax upon departure from the country payable at the Tobias Bolanos airport in Pavas or Juan Santamaria International Airport (airport code "SJO").
